Why reward difficult service users with CoWin?

We believe that this assumption is fundamentally flawed. It rests on the premise that we shouldn't reward someone who is psychotic and displaying very rebellious behaviour with an overly comfortable stay. On the contrary, there is often a need for safety, human contact and the possibility of being able to leave that space soon. CoWin meets this natural need which is why we see that everywhere CoWin has been implemented, the duration of forced containments has been significantly reduced, because users de-escalate faster.

Do we get support during implementation?

A specialist provides training sessions to both care staff and ICT personnel, offering expert guidance on both the theoretical aspects and the hardware and software.

Which apps are available for the service user?

Together with you, we determine which apps are available for staff and service users. Staff can use the manager in real time to control which apps are accessible to the service user.

Can you install CoWin in any space?

Recornect has years of experience with installing CoWin solutions in the most challenging of locations. Our installation team collaborates closely with both architects and building contractors and always ensures an optimum installation result.

Does CoWin come with a remote control?

CoWin has no physical remote control. It comes with a manager app that can be operated by staff on a tablet or computer, for example.

Why is the orientation of CoWin Horizon landscape?

CoWin Horizon is aimed at comfort, communication/interaction and education and a landscape orientation seems to be the most effective for this application.

What is GRASP?

Grasp is the software we developed especially to create a fruitful and safe working environment between the service user and staff.
